DR. RAJDEEP MANWANI

Dr. Rajdeep Manwani is an academician, trainer, motivational speaker, life coach, counsellor, social change agent and quizmaster par excellence. He is currently working as a professor and Head of Academic Research in the department of Commerce at the Sindhi College, Bangalore. He had suffered from macular degradation at a young age, and as a result, lost his eyesight. He received the National award as ‘Role Model for Empowerment of Persons with Disability’ from the honourable President of India in 2013, the special award given by the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2011 and the State Award for Excellence given by the Government of Karnataka in 2015. He holds the record of being adjudged the best impromptu speaker for five years, in India and Sri Lanka.

He is involved as a facilitator in several disability organisations and has helped in training, mentoring and placing students with disabilities in organisations and careers of their choice. He has paved the way for accessibility in many corporate campuses and has also worked extensively with social organizations in creating a barrier free environment for disabled persons to thrive and express their potential.  
Passionate about empowering the youth of the country, he has trained, motivated and mentored over 21,500 students and executives, and has received the Rotary award for Vocational Service in education. He has published research articles and paper presentations in national and international seminars. He has been a featured TEDx speaker and was awarded the ‘Distinguished Toastmaster’, the highest award given by Toastmasters International.
